Conferences and Intercession

I was totally dreading the fact that conferences were tonight, knowing that I was going to get yelled at or scolded for not doing homework. I was especially not looking forward to seeing Mr. Hodgson for Literature or Mr. Nemecek for World History. Mr. Hodgson really needs to get on top of putting things in the grade book, because the reason why I have such a bad grade is because he has only put in one assignment of mine into Powerschool.
Other then those I would say my conferences went really well, all my teachers said I was good in class and said I totally understood the material, but I think the thing I heard most that night is that I need to do the homework.
But on a more serious note, I have to go to Intercession for a class that I am passing. It is ridiculous. The only reason why I have to go is because I don't do the homework, I have aced almost all the tests and quizzes and past all of them with an A, but when my Adv. Alg. teacher, Ms. Dreckman says that homework brings you up to the next level of learning, I don't believe her. It might help you remember how to do the procedure, but for people who understand the material I think homework should be an optional thing if you can prove that you know what you are doing.
